We’re happy to say that Niko finished his 5-day radiation treatment yesterday. On the way to his last treatment, we stopped at the polling station to cast our votes against Amendment One. Take that, reactionaries! Sadly our votes were not enough.

On Tuesday Niko will have his next infusion of Avastin, then depending on how his blood count looks, he’ll start chemotherapy again. The past few weeks have been very hard on Niko and all of us, so we’re crossing our fingers that over the next few weeks things will start to look up.

Tough days ahead, but fortunately we got a wonderful surprise that Eleni Jr. will be coming into town on Mother’s Day and staying for ten days!
